Edible Olives and Olive pate |

Our company decided to launch the production of edible olives, not because we wanted to throw another product code in the market, but in order to meet the needs of people whose diet contains edible olives as well.
 Preservation of edible olives is done by using a high amount of cooking salt. As a result, edible olives are excluded by doctor’s advice from the diet of some people for health reasons. Thassos olive belongs to the Throumboelies variety and for this reason it enjoys a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) status. The fruit of the Thassos olive tree loses its bitterness while maturing on the tree. As a result it becomes sweet and can be consumed without processing.
We also produce olive pate from the same olive fruit, suggesting therefore a new taste sensation related to the Thassian diet habits.
